I have always loved weddings, the grandious feel of it all, and how the whole thing revolves around a verbal contract with witnesses and a justice of the peace.
And I must say i also love how the irony of it all. How us gays are trying to corrupt this beautiful union of a man and woman and in most peoples minds the unification of man, woman and God,
The irony is that marriage originally was created during the time of Moses or whatever ancient time you want to reference, the reason it was created was to ensure that the first born son inherited the father's, land, animals, and money.
And if there was an illegitimate son there would be war and blood shed over the father's goods between the illegitimate son and the rightful son.
So to avoid something that would tear their country apart they created marriage so that there could only be one true son the one noted by marriage.
And how a couple can have this very sacred and blessed union at vegas, and it is just as legal as when witnessed by friends and family.
God forbid two gay people who love eachother should be wed. When a straight couple who is simply joining for convience or for a quick fling can do it whithout a raised eyebrow.
Guess what when a verbal marriage contract is created in no way is God is included in the contract, because it is a Recognition of State not Religion. So why is it an issue whether two men wed, it is not any of the State's business to pay attention to Religious Fanatics and their holy crusade to save their children from being understanding and unbiased human beings
And now the LDS has the audacity to claim it is us gays corrupting the world.
While they chant angrily at us for our sins.
I'm going to Heaven, God have mercy on their unrepentant and bitter souls

The Irony of Religion
I find it amazing now-a-days how it is no longer what god do you believe in but what aspect of Christ do you believe in.
In ancient times there was the Norse religion, Celtic religion, Greek religion, Roman religion, Native American religion, and so forth.
Now-a-days the main religion you hear of is Christian religion, whether it's Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Mormon (LDS), Pentecostal(hope I spelled that right), Seventh-Day-Adventist,
or Non-Denominational. So sad when any other religion is pagan and idolatrous.
I was having the most interesting conversation with a co-worker about a month back I said something sarcastic about worshipping satan, (I must add I don't worship satan) he knew I was joking, but he made the comment anyways that I was going to Hell (he didn't like people not taking their salvation seriously.... yes one of those christians), I said I don't believe in Hell, he said well your going there anyways, we then continued in this strain for about ten minutes, me saying just cause he believed in Hell didn't mean it existed, and him admament that I was....
He was missing the point just cause the Bible says there's a Hell doesn't mean there is one.
All the Bible is, is a religious journal of christians. I know that one can find proof all over the globe that the Bible is supposedly true, but that is why it has a following because it have some semblance of truth. If you look in other religions there is also a semblance of truth. It's not like the Bible is the only one. The reason the Bible is so wide spread is because it is a very convenient tool to control people. I know that makes me sound cynical and to a degree I am, I studied the Bible for over ten years going in depth looking for answers to my own questions and finding none.
I believe this makes me a realist, but back to my 3 points.
Hitler used the concept behind the Bible recounting the crucifixion, to attempt to take over the world.
The Inquistion(s) used it to turn others to their religion,
The Mormon movement created a mass exodus and slaughtered those who tried to follow who were not of their faith.
These are just a few of the many, off the top of my head.
And the point to all of these is, is that religion is used to control the masses, anyone with a half a brain knows this.
And the christian culture is so clever to make the question not "Whether or not the christian religion is true" but "Which christian sect is true"

My Frustration On Homosexuality and Child Abuse
not sure about everyone else in this world but I find it ironic that the christians who persecute us gays say the reason they are persecuting us is to save our souls. They say we are destroying the very foundation of the home. That the life style we are living is corrupting the world.
The reason I find this so ironic is because all their proof and evidence comes from The Bible.
Now while The Bible is a good reference for moral standards I do not think it is a good example to use when telling other people how to live their life. For instance part of the Bible says if your child is disrespectful, you should stone him/her to death.
Yes that is correct the Bible advocates child abuse, another one of my favorites is "spare the rod spoil the child."
I am agnostic due to all these great contradictions, I cannot see myself following a book that not only advocates abuse to children but promotes it. How many people do you think have used that verse from the Bible (spare the rod spoil the child) to condone what they are doing, when abusively discipling their children. But there you have christians, they will ignore anything that will divert them from the straight and narrow path to God. And they think that anger and chants will help gays come back to the path. They think that picketing our marches and advocating against non-discrimination will have us join them.
Odd that the christians aren't advocating child abuse and picketing places that offer safe haven for abused children.
I mean that is in The Bible also, so why are the christians coming to our places of refuge and telling us we are sinning, when according to the Bible they are sinning by letting their children talk back to them. I love the hypocrisy of the christians, they will ignore all the facts and graphs that say that we gays are normal and I love that the christians say that we are influencing those graphs to say we are normal, and then say they(the christians) are following the Bible and then ignore the next couple of verses of the very same Bible. The verses advocating child abuse.
I mean if they want me to be straight don't they also want me to beat a child?
